From San Antonio Winery

When Stefano Riboli's uncle, Santo Cambianica, founded San Antonio Winery in 1917, he began a winemaking tradition that has spanned four generations. Today, the entire Riboli family continues this proud devotion to quality. To celebrate this achievement, all of our handcrafted products belong to the Riboli Family of Wines. Our commitment is reflected in every bottle that bears the Riboli name.

Our family's dedication extends beyond the art of making fine wine to the science of growing exceptional grapes. We farm vineyards in select coastal regions of California renowned for producing exquisite wines. Our vineyard ranches include the Riboli Family Vineyard along Napa Valley's Silverado Trail and the Rancho Soledad, El Camino Real and Loma Vista Vineyards in Monterey County.

Our winemakers handcraft each wine using the most modern equipment, such as temperature- controlled stainless steel tanks and refrigerated cellars for oak barrels. Now, as always, our art is a constantly evolving blend of family experience and new discoveries.

San Antonio Winery remains as the only producing winery in Los Angeles. Still in its original location on Lamar Street, the Winery is the last vestige of the rich winemaking tradition of this region. In recognition, the city of Los Angeles designated San Antonio Winery a Cultural Historical Landmark.

The San Antonio Winery produces wines at our facilities in Los Angeles and Paso Robles. The Los Angeles site is used for white wine fermentations in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. Red wines are produced at our Paso Robles facility. Our modern bottling plant and distribution center are located in Los Angeles.

We currently produce multiple brands of wines. Each brand represents a different style of winemaking. For example, San Antonio represents table wines and kitchen/dessert wines. Maddalena Vineyard represents premium quality, varietal wines from California's Central Coast, in particular Monterey. San Simeon represents the reserve wines of Maddalena Vineyard.

The San Antonio brand represents the traditional wines of our company. Fine California table wines; dessert wines including Marsala, Madeira, Sherry and Port; and sacramental wines for religious ceremonies compose the backbone of our original brand.

Maddalena Vineyard features balanced wines with ripe fruit flavors and an elegant finish. They include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Muscat Canelli and White Zinfandel.

San Simeon wines focus on our family's estate vineyards in Monterey and Paso Robles. Our winemakers employ techniques that express the individual flavors of each parcel of land. In the tradition of reserve wines, San Simeon showcases a round and opulent style. Aging in small oak barrels contributes body and complexity. Grape varieties include Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Syrah.
